UHMW Polyethylene
UHMW is an ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene material. UHMW is a high strength product with unique abrasion and impact resistant properties. It is light weight, approximately 1/8 the weight of mild steel and has low coefficient of friction characteristics.

UHMW is a corrosion resistant material that can withstand intermittent temperatures up to 212°F. It also serves as a good sound insulator

UHMW is an inexpensive alternative to metals, ceramics and wood because it is self-lubricating, shatter resistant, long wearing, abrasion and corrosion resistant, saving costly repair time.

UHMW components can be easily machined and can simplify design, speed assembly and maintenance operations.
